After using my mind-map to brainstorm possible ideas for the name of my magazine I settle on the name 'ECHO'. I chose this because it is simple but also has a lot of impact. It could also reference the echoing of music or rumours etc which will be in the magazine. Next I decided to try out different fonts that could be used for the masthead and logo

I have compiled a mix-tape of my favourite songs to find out what my favourite genre of music is to try and discover what style of music magazine I would like to create.

Looking at this it tells me that my favourite genres of music is urban music, mainly Indie/Rock and Grime. I will be creating an urban music magazine, with Indie/Rock music as the main genre
